Corvettes of Buffalo

COB Does Carlisle

Once again COB invades Carlisle for a weekend of fun, parts hunting  and a good time. The main caravan arrived on Thursday and staked out the spot for the weekend.   There was the usual pilgrimage to the ADAM’s tent for more polishes and cleaners. Mike got a new Corsa exhaust installed on his C5. Sam who road shot gun down with Mel drove back a proud owner a 97 red c5.   Thursday had the group get caught in a massive traffic jam trying to leave the fair grounds, caused by a burning tractor trailer on route 81 north. The weekend had perfect weather sunny, warm and no rain.  Most of the club returned on Sunday with a handful staying for the car raffle.  More pictures in the Club Gallery

Corvette Caravan Raises $5000 for Kids Escaping Drugs

The 4th Annual Corvette Caravan saw a 125 Corvettes, cruise on a 2 hour police escorted tour of the southern tier. To start off the run, all the cruisers were treated to a complimentary breakfast provided by our sponsor,  West Herr Automotive Group  at  Michaels Banquet Facility . COB would like to thank the State Police, the Erie County Sheriff’s Department, Hamburg and Ellicottville Police Departments for the great job they did in making our trip a smooth and safe one. The end of the run was capped off with a great dinner at Colden Lakes Resort, door prizes and the big charity raffle. The caravan raised approx $5000 for Kids Escaping Drugs.

The Club presented 20 cars for The Taste of Clarence Car Show this past Monday. The spot on the grassy knoll gave a panoramic view of all the great cars that participated in the event. In addition to the show was a excellent sampling of food by various restaurants in the Clarence area. All the club members had a great time eating, relaxing and no one caught a case of the DOOZIES         More pictures in the Gallery
