On Wednesday May 15, West-Herr Chevrolet and Western New York Corvette Club hosted an all Corvette show at the dealership on Transit Rd. Eighty-eight corvettes attended and were greeted with clear skies, warm temps and a few wind gusts. Corvettes of all six generations were represented. Chinese auction baskets, split club tickets, hot dogs and other goodies were in abundance.

Awards were given to one car from each generation as well as a Best in Show award.

Members of Corvettes of Buffalo who were in the winners circle included Mike Macy (Best in Show), Rocco Buccelli (C-4), and Ray Zielinski (C-5).

COB Member Ken K. won a first place award in the “Domestic Sports Early 49-62″ class for his  fabulous blue 1954 Corvette at 2013 Detroit Autorama Show . Ken had been restoring his 54 corvette for many years and was rewarded by taking a first place at the show. As ken was preparing the 54 for the show Chip Foose stopped to admire the vette and complimented Ken on how well the car looked. Ken’s next hope is to achieve a Top Flight award at the NCRS national meet.
